Job Title: Office Administrator
The Company:
Leading Software development house based in the Midlands with a varied client base that includes a number of prestigious accounts, across the UK and Europe.
The company is looking for a capable, organised and self motivated individual to help support key functions of the business
Overview of Role:
As well as providing reception and telephone answering duties, you will assist other members of the staff by providing supporting services such as:
- Printing
- Filing
- Copying
- Collating documentation
- Organising stationery
- Administration work for Management team, Sales team and Project team
It is envisaged that the requirements of the role will evolve as this is a new post. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritise work and be able to take the initiative in organising work and managing their responsibility to different teams. The administrator will be expected to take a proactive approach to their work, and take on additional responsibilities to assist with the company’s objectives.

This role is office based at the Company’s Head Office in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support as requested
- Being able to prioritise work to meet the needs of the business
- Meeting visitors to the office and dealing with enquiries
- Reception duties including answering calls
Skills Required:
Essential
- Very experienced in MS Word and MS Excel – experience of Sage welcomed
- Have good language skills in order to be able to produce letters and proofread documents
- Well spoken and of smart appearance
- Able to work on their own initiative
- Have a fast and thorough approach to their work
- Be able to manage priorities and notify of any conflicts
- Capable of multi-tasking and managing their own workload
Desirable
- Be able to bring introduce office processes as agreed with the Operations Manager
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 – 5.30pm, job share considered
Benefits:
Salary negotiable for right candidate.
21 days holiday plus statutory days.
